The New Art Of Sewing
Art of Sewing has recently changed hands and has a new look, but we still offer great products and service. The shop, found in Christchurch has been revamped to create a more light and airy atmosphere and we have found space for a workroom.
Our lovely shop coordinator, Linda, has a vast knowledge of all things quilting and embroidery. With her welcoming smile and friendly manner, she will ensure that your visit to Art of Sewing will be an enjoyable experience.
The new owner, Sandra, loves all things craft, from starting out making a cross stitch sacking pot mitt at Busy Bees, she’s never looked back. Dabbling in knitting, crocheting, cross stitch and home decorating, she completed a beginner’s patchwork course 5 years ago and found her passion. Applique, foundation paper piecing and machine quilting are her favourites, along with Sashiko and art quilts.
The aim of Art of Sewing is to provide a hub where like-minded people can meet to create, encourage and learn the craft of quilting.
