Good morning all, hope you are keeping warm and dry. Well it’s been a frantic month with lots of things happening at the shop.

We have had a real influx of new fabrics come in, including Edyta Sitar’s new range of fabric, Blue Skies. We have kits made up for both Winter Village and Reaching Blue Sky. Both are available on lay by over three months. Absolutely stunning in blues and tans.

A whole range of new Christmas fabric are in store, check out our in store Xmas Grotto. There’s ribbons, buttons, fabric and patterns galore. We will be holding a one day class for a folded Xmas centrepiece and a lovely penguin applique runner. We have a new Christmas range from Tula Pink, Holiday Homies, check out the kit which includes a free pattern.

For all of you folk that are doing classes at Symposium, we have all your needs covered. In store we have 2 types of mini irons, the Clover model retailing at $99.90, and Sew Easy model at $88.90. We’ve got Misty Fuse, Goddess Applique sheets, add a quarter rulers and plenty of bias binding supplies.

Also newly arrived is the fantastic fabric Roll & Press from Clover, a great gadget to flatten out those seams. This must have tool is retailing at $29.20. Newly arrived is Northcott’s Gradations fabrics, these are an absolute must for any quilter that is looking for fabric to use in their landscape and structural quilts. They blend beautifully with batiks and are a go-to range for many renowned quilters, including Lenore Crawford and Gloria Loughman. We have 38 stunning colours in store now (furiously unpacking as we speak).

Aurifil has also joined our family with 40wt 150m spools in 270 gorgeous colours, including variegated threads. Retailing at $9.30, they are the premium cotton thread on the market.

Anthology Batiks are in store now, perfectly matched to go with Jacqueline de Jonge’s BeColourful patterns.
